Last week, Goodwill NYNJ staff testified in front of the New York City Council to support the bill introduced by Council member Richie Torres to expand Jobs-Plus programs to all housing developments operated by the New York City Housing Authority.
Currently, Goodwill NYNJ operates a Jobs-Plus at The Bronx to offer job training and employment support for residents of the Clason Point, Sack Wern and Monroe NYC NYCHA developments.
